Journal of Engineering Innovation and Sustainability (JEIS)

The Journal of Engineering Innovation and Sustainability (JEIS) is a publication of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. JEIS was launched on April 2nd, 2025. The editorial board is calling for high-quality original research articles, review papers, and case studies for its inaugural issue. JEIS aims to publish cutting-edge researches in engineering with a focus on technologies for sustainable practices, and innovations to drive global development and provide responsible engineering solutions.
Scope of the Journal:
JEIS covers all areas in Engineering, Innovations in Applied Sciences, and Sustainability. Some of the areas include (but not limited to):
- Sustainable energy systems and green technologies
- Smart materials and advanced manufacturing
- Renewable energy innovation
- Circular economy and sustainable design
- Civil and environmental engineering for resilient infrastructure
- Artificial intelligence and machine learning in sustainable systems
- Climate-responsive urban development
- Water and waste management innovations
- Engineering ethics and policy for sustainability
Submission Guidelines:
Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts through our online submission portal at Submissions | Journal of Engineering Innovation and Sustainability. All submissions will be double-blind peer-reviewed. Article Publication Charge (APC) of N50,000 applies for all lead authors with local affiliations while $100 applies for all lead authors with international affiliation.
Important Dates:
- Submission Deadline: Submission is open all year round
- Notification of Acceptance: Papers will take between 1 to 2 months for the peer review process
- Publication Date: June and December of every year.
